Luggage tags that survive the belt, cable cases that stop the tangle, leakproof jars, ID bands for children and a few pieces that happen to gift well on their own.

A travel gift has a narrow target. Too cheap and it reads as an afterthought; too specific and it never gets used. What works is the category of thing people know they need and keep putting off — a proper luggage tag rather than the paper one from the desk, a case that keeps four cables from knotting, a jar that does not leak into a wash bag. We keep the range in that band deliberately, and we keep the safety pieces, the ID bands and the TSA-approved locks, in their own section so they are easy to find in a hurry.
